Authorities are looking for these men in connection to a credit union robbery near the intersection of 84th Avenue and Federal Boulevard that happened on August 9th. (FBI Denver)
The Westminster Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are looking for two men in connection to the robbery of the Premier Members Credit Union.
The credit union near the intersection of 84th Avenue and Federal Boulevard was robbed on August 9th by two suspects described as black men in their early 20s.
The suspects entered the credit union, showed a handgun and demanded money. No one was injured.
Both suspects reportedly spoke with African accents and are approximately 5-feet, 8-inches in height and about 150 pounds.
The credit union was also robbed May 24 by a suspect described as a black male, 25 to 30-years-old, approximately 6'2" to 6'3" tall, weighing 160 to 180 pounds with a thin mustache.
Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime, according to the FBI Denver division.
