Breaking down fantasy football match-ups for all viable Baltimore Ravens as they take on the Washington Redskins.

Joe Flacco ? ? ? ? ?8/10

Flacco?s season of ups and downs continued last week as he dropped a total dud at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The poor performance came after a pretty big fantasy day in the miraculous comeback against the San Diego Chargers.

Despite his numbers in the last two games, Flacco has played much better at home than on the road, so he has that going against him this Sunday.

However, the Redskins? pass defense has been atrocious all season, as they rank second to last in the league. The Washington run defense is much better than the pass defense, and paired with Cam Cameron?s pass happy play calling, it wouldn?t be a shock to see Flacco air it out over 40 times on Sunday.

Considering this isn?t too far of a road game (roughly a 40-mile trip to D.C.) that could help to bridge the gap between Flacco?s road and home numbers.

When you consider how bad the Skins? pass defense is and how the Ravens need this game to keep up with the rest of the AFC?s top teams, Flacco should have a solid fantasy day.

Prediction:? 330 yards passing, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception

Ray Rice? ? ? ? ? ?6/10

Rice has little time left to turn around a somewhat disappointing fantasy season. The Ravens? once-feared rushing attack ranks a paltry 23rd in the league. Much of that blame can be placed on Cameron?s idiotic play calling, as he simply hasn?t given Rice the amount of touches he deserves.

The Redskins meanwhile own the league?s fourth-ranked run defense, which should be music to Cameron?s ears. Rice has only rushed for over 100 yards twice this season, with his season-high a pedestrian 102 yards coming all the way back in Week 5.

Thus, facing a stiff run defense and his own offensive coordinator, expect another average effort from an above average running back.

Prediction: 70 yards rushing, 30 yards receiving

Torrey Smith ? ? ? 9/10

Smith once again showed off his inconsistency last week, as he all but disappeared against the Steelers after his best game of the season the prior week against the Chargers.

However, Smith will face a brutal pass defense so he could have another monster day. Paired with the fact he had a horrible game last week, Smith usually follows bad games with good ones.

With the Redskins? defense strong against the run, Smith should see plenty of targets. Despite Flacco being the worst quarterback in the league on passes of 11-plus yards down field, Smith should be able to reel in a couple of big plays, including a touchdown.

Prediction: 110 yards, touchdown

Anquan Boldin ? ? ?7/10

Boldin was an animal last week against the Steelers as he usually rises to the occasion in physical match-ups.

This game doesn?t figure to be a physical battle in the passing game, so expect Boldin to not have quite as big of an impact.

However, with the Ravens propensity to chuck the ball relentlessly and the Reskins? awful pass defense, Boldin should have another productive fantasy day.

Consider him a decent third receiver or flex, as the veteran should have ample opportunities in the Ravens? pass happy offense.

Prediction: ?70 yards

Dennis Pitta ? ? 7/10

Pitta, like the rest of the passing attack, has been inconsistent at best this season. He only registered one fantasy point last week against the Steelers, but again, this is a favorable match-up for all Ravens? pass catchers.

Pitta should see at least 5-10 targets this week, with some red zone opportunities as well. Pitta is always a bit of a risky play, but this game bodes well for Pitta.

Prediction: 55 yards, touchdown

Defense/ST?s? ? ? 4/10

There was hope this unit could become relevant again, but last week?s subpar effort against Charlie Batch squashed that hope.

Throw in the fact this unit must take on Robert Griffin III, Alfred Morris and the Redskins? seventh-ranked offense, and the Ravens? defense/special teams is an awful play this weekend.

With games remaining against potent offenses in the final three games, it is time to write the Ravens? defense/special teams off for the season.

Prediction: 400 yards allowed, 31 points, 1 fumble recovery

US works with Russia on Syria, but wants Assad out

BELFAST, Northern Ireland (AP) ? Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said Friday that the United States and Russia are committed to trying again to get President Bashar Assad's regime and the rebel opposition to talk about a political transition in Syria, setting aside a year and a half of U.S.-Russian disagreements that have paralyzed the international community.

Clinton stressed, however, that the U.S. would insist once again that Assad's departure be a key part of that transition, a position not shared by the Russians.

In her first comments on the surprise three-way diplomatic talks held Thursday with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.N. peace envoy Lakhdar Brahimi, Clinton said Washington and Moscow agreed to support a new mediation effort Brahimi would lead. She called Thursday's discussions "constructive," while adding that much work remained and suggesting that neither side shifted its fundamental position.

"We reviewed the very dangerous developments inside Syria," Clinton said in Northern Ireland. "And both Minister Lavrov and I committed to supporting a new push by Brahimi and his team to work with all the stakeholders in Syria to begin a political transition."

"It was an important meeting, but just the beginning," she added. "I don't think anyone believes there was some great breakthrough. No one should have any illusions about how hard this remains, but all of us with any influence on the process, with any influence on the regime or the opposition, need to be engaged."

Neither Assad nor any opposition group has agreed to a cease-fire and talks. Both sides believe they can resolve the conflict militarily. Even if the U.S. and Russia reach a broader agreement on a path forward, bringing most of the world with them, it is unclear if that will have any effect on the fighting in Syria.

The 40-minute meeting with Lavrov and Brahimi immediately seemed to ease some of the tensions between the U.S. and Russia over how best to address Syria's bloody, 21-month civil war. Through much of the conflict, the former Cold War foes have argued bitterly. The U.S. has criticized Russia for shielding its closest Arab ally. Moscow has accused Washington of meddling by demanding Assad's downfall.

Clinton said nothing that suggested either government had changed its position, and Lavrov made no public comments after the meeting. But with rebels fighting government forces on the outskirts of Syria's capital and Western governments warning about possible chemical weapons deployment by the Assad regime, Clinton emphasized the importance of taking another shot at a peaceful transition deal.

Diplomatic efforts are needed to gauge "what is possible in face of the advancing developments on the ground which are increasingly dangerous not only to Syrians, but to their neighbors," Clinton said, in an apparent reference to Syria's chemical weapons arsenal, which has become the focus of Western nervousness about the civil war.

Brahimi said after the talks that he would put together a peace process based on a political transition strategy the U.S. and Russia agreed on in Geneva in June. At that time, the process quickly became bogged down over how the international community might enforce its conditions.

But instead of addressing the plan's shortcomings, Clinton stressed its continued value, saying it would commit any future Syrian authority to democratic principles and international human rights standards.

Clinton also said the strategy would have to mean the end of the four-decade Assad regime ? a contentious point with Moscow, which has insisted that Syria's leadership is not for the United States or any other outside party to decide on.

"The United States stands with the Syrian people in insisting that any transition process result in a unified, democratic Syria in which all citizens are represented ? Sunni, Alawi, Christians, Kurds, Druze, men, women. Every Syrian must be included," Clinton told reporters. "And a future of this kind cannot possibly include Assad."

The plan Brahimi is hoping to resuscitate was crafted earlier this year by his predecessor as the Syria peace envoy, former U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan. Annan's plan never got off the ground, and he resigned his post in frustration.

It starts with several demands on the Assad regime to de-escalate tensions and end the violence that activists say has killed more than 40,000 people since March 2011. It then requires Syria's opposition and the regime to put forward candidates for a transitional government, with each side having the right to veto nominees proposed by the other.

If anything resembling Annan's plan takes hold, it would surely mean the end of Assad's presidency. The opposition has demanded his departure and has rejected any talk of him staying in power. Yet it also would grant regime representatives the opportunity to block Sunni extremists and others in the opposition that they reject.

The United States blamed the collapse of the process last summer on Russia for vetoing a third resolution at the U.N. Security Council that would have applied world sanctions against Assad's government for failing to live by its provisions.

Russia insisted that the Americans couldn't demand Assad's departure. It also worried about opening the door to military action, even as Washington offered to include language in any U.N. resolution that would have expressly forbidden outside armed intervention.

After getting married on last week?s episode, Liz Lemon returned to work and announced her good news.

?You got married? To what?? Frank asked.

Jenna was furious because Liz nearly stole her thunder and ruined her A list-style surprise wedding.

When she found out that Liz was named ?one of the 80 under 80 honoring women in entertainment who aren?t Betty White,? Jenna almost lost it. But Liz invited her to the awards ceremony, which would be broadcast on Lifetime.com\garbagefile.

As soon as they arrived at the celebrity-filled luncheon, Liz realized that Jenna was planning to upstage her and execute her surprise wedding. Enter Gayle King, who told Liz about the time she stood up to her BFF Oprah: ?My bangs, they?re not about you. It?s about trying to cover my forehead.?

Liz sabotaged Jenna?s almost-wedding with grocery store milk aisle lighting.

?One of these days, you?re going to turn around Jack, and I?m going to be gone, just like that,? Colleen said. And sure enough, when Jack turned around, she was dead.

But Jack?s determination to please his mother didn?t end there.

?My lifelong quest to please that woman is what made me the man I am today. The man who was the centerfold of Fortune Magazine no fewer than 3 times. The man who in 1984 wore a tuxedo so well he broke up the Go-Go?s. The man who last night wrote, and today will deliver, the greatest eulogy of all time.?

And he did. Even Kermit was there! But Jack didn?t plan the surprise ending: Jenna and Paul?s surprise wedding. Colleen would have hated it, Jack said. It was perfect. Congratulations to Mrs. and Mr. Jenna Maroney!

HBT: Indians out of Upton meda-deal talks

3:20 p.m. EST update: Rosenthal is quoting an official involved in the talks as saying they?re ?not dead,? but that things are no further along than they were going into the winter meetings.

3:00 p.m. EST update: Speaking with reporters about a half hour ago, Rangers GM Jon Daniels aid he was packed and ready to leave the winter meetings without completing a deal.

1:38 p.m. EST update: While other teams have packed up and left, Rosenthal says the Rangers, Diamondbacks and Rays are still at the winter meetings working on a Justin Upton trade.

FOXSports.com?s Ken Rosenthal is chiming back in on the Justin Upton trade talks, this time saying that two scenarios are in play, neither of which involve the Indians.

The Indians had been key in yesterday?s rumors, with Asdrubal Cabrera going to Arizona as the shortstop the Diamondbacks were thought to require in an Upton trade to Texas.

Rosenthal reports that both current scenarios involve the Rangers, Diamondbacks and Rays. One is a three-team deal and the other is a four-team deal that would include the Mariners.

While it?s speculation, Rosenthal thinks one way the deal could line up for the Rangers is for a Rays starter to go to Arizona, with Rangers third baseman Mike Olt and other prospects landing in Tampa Bay.

James Shields or Jeremy Hellickson could be the Rays starter in that plan.

Such an addition to the Arizona rotation could perhaps allow the Diamondbacks to swing a Cabrera deal with Cleveland afterwards.

As for the Mariners, they?re still believed to want Derek Holland from Texas. ESPN Radio?s Jim Bowden points out that the Mariners may be involved in order to aid the Rangers in getting Upton and thus help their chances of signing Josh Hamilton.

Study: Drug coverage to vary under health law

WASHINGTON (AP) ? A new study says basic prescription drug coverage could vary dramatically from state to state under President Barack Obama's health care overhaul.

That's because states get to set benefits for private health plans that will be offered starting in 2014 through new insurance exchanges.

The study out Tuesday from the market analysis firm Avalere Health found that some states will require coverage of virtually all FDA-approved drugs, while others will only require coverage of about half of medications.

Consumers will still have access to essential medications, but some may not have as much choice.

Connecticut, Virginia and Arizona will be among the states with the most generous coverage, while California, Minnesota and North Carolina will be among states with the most limited.
